Crestline Investors, Inc. (“Crestline”), a leading provider of fund liquidity solutions, has successfully completed a $39 million Net Asset Value (“NAV”) loan to a repeat borrower and global leading provider of Purpose Build Student Accommodations (“PBSA”) (the “Borrower”). The Borrower’s strategy focuses on markets with strong fundamentals and persistent supply-demand imbalances. This transaction builds on an initial loan made by Crestline in July 2021 (Project Jersey), which has continued to perform well.
This new facility is supported by a diversified pool of PBSA assets located across key university cities in the US and Western Europe. Proceeds from the NAV loan will support the acquisition of a high-quality European student housing portfolio, providing immediate scale in one of Europe’s most supply-constrained PBSA markets. As a repeat Crestline borrower, the sponsor was able to benefit from an efficient closing process and streamlined documentation.
